Reminder: Appointments are required for submission of Building Permits, all Planning Board and Zoning Board of Adjustment applications, i.e. subdivision, site plan review, variances, etc., submissions, and for general land use/code consultations. Call 603-522-6205 ext. 308 to make an appointment, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Town of Wakefield requires ratings of a 115 mph wind-speed and 95 lb snow load. The minimum size requirement for new homes is 800 square feet. 

Effective July 1, 2024 NH has adopted the 2021 ICC codes as as of July 1, 2025 NH has adopted the 2023 NEC codes.
